Often times, in game situations, a player’s heart rate far exceeds what that player experiences during a practice setting. During practice, players are calm and in control of the situation and this translates to a great deal of success in the cage. This week, Justin Stone discusses developing a “Free Throw” like pre-pitch routine to slow the heart rate and replicate the practice setting.
